Sunday 18 November: Mt Aggie and Bendora Arboretum – M/E
Follow the track from the car park to Mt Aggie, then on along the border ridge track toward Bendoura Hill. May go off track to the arboretum (about 750 m) for lunch, then on track back to the cars. The area is a mixture of vegetation types including ferny creeks and includes some spectacular views. About 5¼ hrs actual walking. Map: Tidbinbilla. 24–25 November: Budawang Classic–The Shrouded Gods – M/R
Via the Castle track we will make it all the way to the top to greet the Gods, reflect on the ascent, gaze down to the Earthly views and to sleep. Return via the Mooryan/Gods route. Map: Corang 1:25000. Leader: Chris L Transport: ~$30

Walk on the fire trail
and track (200 m ascent) from Ginini car park to the summit for lunch, then follow the ridge before descending to Pryors Hut and
back on the fire trail to the cars. Spectacular views and

1– 2 December: Morton NP, Byangee Walls – M/M/R and
We’ll drive down early Saturday to the
Yadboro campsite and pitch camp. Its a very scenic
walk from the Yadboro up to Byangee Walls via
1–3 December: Ettrema Gorge – M/M, X
Ettrema is one of our
classic gorges – this unhurried walk will explore one of the more varied
sections of the valley floor, with a sidetrip into the rainforests of Jones
Creek. The slopes in and out climb through 500 m – though Transportation
Spur allows us to avoid Gallows Gully, and if rain precludes the rocky slabs of
Myall Creek we’ll exit via Jingles Pass. Map:

Tuesday 4 December: Coppins Crossing to Uriarra Crossing – M/M
One of the benefits of leading walks is
that you can go where you want to (even if no one else joins in). I’ve never
walked from Coppins Crossing to Uriarra Crossing, so let’s do it. Around 14 km and 50 m total drop if we walk downstream. Maps:
Tuesday 6–8pm 4 December: Dairy Farmers Hill
Meet by 6 pm in the National Zoo and
Aquarium car park. From there we will walk up and around Dairy Hill and venture
into the

December: Bungonia Gorge and
We will descend the
steep track from Bungonia Lookdown to reach the top of the gorge and then
boulder hop for the next 30 minutes. Then follow Bungonia Creek to its junction
with the Shoalhaven. Lunch and swimming options at the
junction. Return via the steep Mt Ayre track. Please note that the walk
involves a steep 500 m descent/ascent and some solid rock-hopping. Map: Caoura

8–9 December: Return to the Bimberamala. – M/R/W
Venture deep in the Bimberamala NP below Mt Currockbilly. We base camp beneath lilly pillys and tall palms at a bubbling creek junction and take two dawdling side trips up luscious rainforested tributaries. One tributary has at least three picture post-card waterfalls. Map: Brooman 1:25000. Leader: Chris L Transport: ~$25
